How It Works
How Are Appointments Made?
- A registered delegate will be sent a user name and password for our website and be
asked to complete a profile of their company.
- The profiles of the shipowners/operators will outline details of their requirements
for the next 12 months including the number of ships owned or managed and their budget
for new buildings and refurbishments for the next 12-24 months.
- The profiles which can only be viewed by registered delegates, will be used by
delegates during the meeting selection process and will be printed in the event
directory.
- Delegates will select which companies they would like to meet by visiting our website.
- A personal meeting schedule is then drawn up for each company
The Format
- Each shipowner/operator is allocated their own meeting desk in the room where the
meetings program takes place over 2 days.
- The vendors move around the meeting room to have meetings with the shipowners/operators
- All meetings last 20 minutes.
The Social Program
Following the business meetings, there will be an organized program of activities allowing
delegates to network in a more informal way. There will be a welcome reception and buffet
dinner on arrival followed by an evening out on the second night and finally a farewell
dinner at the hotel on the last night.
